When you talk about vitamins and supplements, you can find two groups of vitamin. Vitamins can be divided into water-soluble vitamins and fat-soluble vitamins. The water-soluble vitamins can enter and travel through the body freely. Human body needs it in small doses but frequently. Vitamin C, vitamin, B, folate, choline, and niacin have higher cunsumption limits. High level vitamin B6 causes irreversible nerve damage when it is used for a long period.

1. Vitamin B1 (Thiamine)
Vitamin B1 is useful for part of enzyme needed of energy metabolism and nerve function.
2. Vitamin B2 (Ribiflavin)
It is important for skin health and normal vision.
3. Vitamin B3 (Niacin)
It is important for skin health, digestive and nervous systems.
4. Pantothenic acid
It is a part of enzim needed for energy metabolism.
5. Biotin
It is a part of enzim needed for energy metabolism.
6. Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine)
It helps create red blood cells.
7. Folic acid
It can be part of an enzyme which is needed for making DNA and new cells, especially red blood cells.
8. Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin)
It is necessary for nerve function and new cells production.
9. Vitamin C (Ascorbic)
It is necessary for immune system health and iron absorption.
Fat-soluble vitamins as the part of vitamins and supplements are saved in the body’s cells. It is different from the water-soluble vitamins. You need much amount of it in low frequency. It can be divided into several types.
1. Vitamin A
It is necessary for healthy skin and mucous membranes, vision, immune system health, bone and toothy growth.
2. Vitamin D
It is saved in bone and used for proper calcium absorption.
3. Vitamin E
It is antioxidant to protect cell walls.
4. Vitamin K
It is used for proper blood clotting.
